United Muslims of America’s goal is to educate and encourage American Muslims to actively participate in the mainstream American political system. UMA strives to achieve this goal by doing the following:

  • Encourage the community members to register to vote.
  • Inform them about the important issues and the candidates
  • Encourage them to participate in the political parties
  • Encourage them to get involved in the campaigns of the political candidates
  • Endorse the political candidates supportive of the causes dear to the community
  • Arrange fund raising events for the political candidates
  • Encourage the community members to vote for the selected candidates
  • Work with other Muslim organizations involved in the similar activities
